DeMarco Sleeper

DeMarco Sleeper was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where he found a strong connection making music and dancing. During his high school career, he was involved with choreographic and musical theatre projects. Before taking any formal dance training, DeMarco choreographed middle school show choir and high school sports half time shows in the community. He won awards and features such as: WKYC’s special entitled “Rising Star” 2016, an Outstanding Performer from Cuyahoga Classic Show Choir Invitational, Outstanding Musician Award, and Outstanding Soloist from Music Festival Showcase. He also worked with the Fine Arts Association in Mentor, Ohio choreographing for summer theatre. From 2014─2017 he worked with The Dancing Wheels Company. In 2017, DeMarco moved to Atlanta, Georgia and spent two years working with Full Radius Dance. During this time, he was part of many performances in Atlanta including Dance Canvas, The Atlanta Dance Academy Showcase, and Artz in the Park through Southern Arts Dance. He joined AXIS Dance Company in Oakland, California in the summer of 2019. There he had the opportunity to tour nationally and internationally including Dubai and Germany. DeMarco is now back in his hometown dancing with The Dancing Wheels Company since 2022 and continues to work on his own music production as singer-songwriter and rapper, as well as recording and playing instruments.
