Emilyann Dustman (she/her) is a dance educator, choreographer, and performer who recently earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from The University of Akron. As Co-Artistic Director with Tempo Dance Company, Emilyann has showcased her choreography, managed productions, and taught various age groups. She continues to pursue her passion for instruction as an instructor at competitive studios. She has contributed to outreach programs such as the Akron After School outreach programs with Weathervane Theatre and Pointillism Jazz. Emilyann recently completed a Seasonal Contract with The Movement Project and was thrilled to premiere ‘Where I End, and You Begin’ by Morgan Walker at the Detroit Dance City Festival. She has also performed in Krooked Collective’s ‘RE-UP-TAKE’ at the CDP Community Collab and acted as a Company Dancer with Cleveland Dance Company in 2022. Additionally, she expanded her Musical Theatre experience by portraying “Rita” for two consecutive years in Rubber City Theatre’s White Christmas. Emilyann has participated in residencies through NCC Akron with Gibney, Christopher K. Morgan, Helanius J Wilkins, Cara Hagan, Alexandra Barbier, Ben Needham-wood, John Heginbotham, and attended Groundworks 2022 Winter Intensive on scholarship. She was honored to perform in ‘Spurious’ mentored by Stephen Petronio and choreographed by Jessica Bennet. Emilyann has showcased her choreographic creations at various events, including Cleveland Dance Project’s 12th Seasonal Showcase, UADC, and the All Ohio Dance Festival. Emilyann joined the Dancing Wheels Company in the 2024-2025 season.
