DeMarco Sleeper is a talented dancer and musician who was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Despite having no formal dance training, DeMarco discovered his love for choreography during his high school years where he worked on various projects related to musical theatre and show choir. He has won several awards and accolades for his outstanding work including WKYC’s “Rising Star” 2016 award, “Outstanding Performer” from Cuyahoga Classic Show Choir Invitational, and “Outstanding Musician Award” and “Outstanding Soloist” from the Music Festival Showcase. In addition to his love for dance, DeMarco is also a singer-songwriter and rapper who is passionate about music productions. He has worked on many other productions including three with the Fine Arts Association in Mentor, OH where he also served as a choreographer for summer theatre. He joined Dancing Wheels Company in 2014 then spent two years with Full Radius Dance in Atlanta, GA training, teaching in outreach programs, and touring. In the summer of 2019, DeMarco joined AXIS Dance Company where he was a dancer and part of the Bay Area performing artist community for three years. DeMarco traveled internationally to Europe and Dubai for the 2022 World Expo. He returned home to Cleveland, OH in March of 2022 to work with Dancing Wheels Company.
