Morgan Walker, Rehearsal Director and Wardrobe Manager, originally from Diamond, OH, graduated from Kent State University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. Upon graduation, she was awarded the G. Harry Wright Scholarship Award, Eugenia V. Erdmann Scholarship for Dance, Kent Dance Ensemble Guest Artist Award, Student Dance Education Organization Award for Choreography and Award for Outstanding Dance Performer; awards given to acknowledge passionate artistry and excellence in dance. During this time, she also studied with The Ailey School, Openflr International Dance Exchange, Jon Lehrer Dance Company, José Limón Dance Company, and many lucrative residencies with choreographers such as Stephanie Martinez, Ronald K. Brown, Ray Mercer, Catherine Meredith, Shumpei Nemoto, and Jamal White. Post graduation, Morgan joined Philadelphia based company Cardell Dance Theatre while concurrently training on scholarship at The Ailey School in New York, NY. 

In 2019, Morgan joined Cleveland-based dance company, Dancing Wheels Company. Performing in new creations, repertory work, and collaborating with choreographers such as Tiffany Mills, Alice Blumenfeld, Laura Smyth, Mark Tomasic, Catherine Meredith, Alexis Diggs, and Staycee Pearl. Currently Morgan is in her fifth season with the company and performs as Rehearsal Director, Wardrobe Manager, full-time Company Dancer, and has had the privilege to choreograph works for the company. 

In 2020, as a choreographer, Morgan launched her choreographic project MWalker Choreography and has since performed, presented, and has been commissioned by establishments such as Kent State University, Bellingham Repertory Dance, GroundWorks DanceTheater, Dancing Wheels Company, Detroit Dance City Festival, Mark DeGarmo International Dance Festival, Contemporary Dance Choreography Festival, Trifecta Dance Collective Choreographer Showcase, Cleveland Dance Project, and regional and national American College Dance Association Conferences. 

In 2023, Morgan was awarded the 2023 Michigan Residency Award by Detroit Dance City Festival in September 2023. She is currently preparing the creation of a new work commission to present at the festival in September 2024 and continues to create new works for aspiring and professional dance artists throughout northeast Ohio.
