DESCRIPTION:The Dancing Wheels Company is partnering with Wayne Center for the Arts to present “Dance for Every Body” Workshops. Encouraging anyone and everyone to try dancing\, Dancing Wheels’ series of workshop classes “Dance for Every Body” engages participants of all ages and abilities (family friendly\, inclusive). Each on-line interactive class starts with a warm-up sequence of dance exercises\, continues by learning a dance routine to perform\, and finishes with a dance party allowing each person to express themselves through movement. Instructors from The Dancing Wheels Company & School specialize in teaching physically integrated dance for people with and without disabilities. These classes will be led by Founding Artistic Director Mary Verdi-Fletcher and Director of Outreach Sara Lawrence-Sucato. \nWorkshops will be held online via Zoom at 12:30-1:30pm EST on (Thursday) March 4\, (Tuesday) March 16\, (Thursday) April 1\, and (Tuesday) April 13. \nThe cost for one workshop class is $15 per participant or sign up for all four (4) workshop classes for $50 per participant. \nBelow is a link to register for one (1) or all four (4) workshop classes. \nhttps://wayneartscenter.org/classes/dance/dance-for-every-body.html

This is a virtual program\, presented through the Cleveland Council on World Affairs and USAID\,will focus on the topic of “Empowering Young People with Disabilities.” The workshop participants include 30 individuals from Belarus who are young people with disabilities\, advocates for youth and the disabled community\, service providers\, and parents/guardians of those with disabilities.
