This class will provide an introduction to teachers who are interested in learning more about Dancing Wheels’ style of physically integrated dance and wheelchair translation to apply in their own classes for students with and without disabilities. \n\nSara Lawrence-Sucato hails from Columbus\, OH\, graduated from Mercyhurst University (Erie\, PA)\, and is in her thirteenth season as a member of The Dancing Wheels Company. Sara is also the company’s Tour Manager\, a company class instructor\, and teaches residencies\, workshops\, and masterclasses for The Dancing Wheels Company & School. She recently became the Director of Outreach & Community Engagement.

There is an immediate opening for a male dancer and a wheelchair dancer*. The Dancing Wheels Company is a national touring company that works with highly acclaimed choreographers each year. Most recent works include full-length pieces from Donald McKayle\, Dianne McIntyre\, Nai-Ni Chen\, Christopher Fleming\, Michael Uthoff\, Peter Kalivis\, David Rousseve and David Dorfman. \nThe preferred candidates should be proficient in ballet\, modern and partnering. Experience and training required\, must be able to work full‐time and tour throughout the nation.
